Scheduling your Surveys

  • Select a a scheduled send date.
  • Select a scheduled due date.
  • Select a scheduled release date at which point the anonymized performance report will be released to students. This page details how released results work.

Assignment Surveys

  • Create survey as assignment. This option creates an assignment in your LMS (except for Brightspace, where an assignment must be created separately. Click here for how to create an assignment survey in Brightspace). Assignment surveys are completed by students right from the assignments tab in your LMS and can be auto graded.
  • Select the number of points this assignment should be worth. This automatically populates to your LMS gradebook.
  • If using auto grading, select the auto grading weighting between points for completion and points for ratings received.
  • Select the student group categories included in this survey. The default is all of your groups but if you use LMS group sets, you can select a specific set here.
  • Closing the loop. This can be enabled for closing the loop with students and/or closing the loop with instructors. Closing the loop allows for a reflective response to feedback results. For full details on how it works, click here.
