How to Send Feedback Loop Grades to LMS Gradebook

Nov 27, 2024 | FAQ, Support Documentation

If you are using Feedback Loop’s magic grading feature, you can send the automatically calculated grades to your Learning Management System’s gradebook with a click. To do so, click the Push Grades button on your survey’s management page.

This can take several seconds for the LMS to receive the grades so standby and wait for the green checkmark to display. If you leave the page while grades are being sent, the action will end and you will need to return to the survey page and push grades again. You can hover over the checkmark to display the date and timestamp for when grades were most recently pushed. If needed, you can click it to push grades again (useful in the event of additional student completions).

Currently, the date and time an instructor pushes grades to the LMS is when the completion is recorded by the LMS, so make sure to send grades before the due date recorded in the LMS to avoid any potential late deductions. In a future product update, Feedback Loop will record the student’s actual submission date as the assignment completion date to avoid this potential issue.

For questions with a menu of options, (e.g. Likert scales) Internal Values are the numbers linked to a response. For example: Strongly Agree is by default 5 points on a 5 point scale. Ensure each Internal Value is not repeated to avoid issues.
