This Feedback Loop product update includes improved survey management, enhanced Blackboard LMS support and product fit and finish to make Feedback Loop even more user friendly!
Edit Survey Settings (even after scheduling!)
Scheduled surveys now grab the latest version of your survey template and student teams at the time the survey sends. So feel free to make any survey template changes after your survey is scheduled, but before it sends! Additionally, all other survey options can be updated after it is scheduled:
- A different survey template can be selected
- Scheduled send, close and release dates can now be modified
- Setting the survey as an assignment or not can now be toggled
- Auto vs manual grading can now be changed, including adjusting the auto grading formula
- The number of points this survey assignment is worth can be updated
- Teams and LMS group set that the survey applies to can now be edited
- Closing the loop (for both students and instructors) can now be enabled or disabled
For sent (or active) surveys, the max points the assignment is worth and the scheduled close date can now be modified.
Full Blackboard Integration (including API support)
Our Blackboard integration has been expanded to include support for Blackboard’s API to supplement our existing LTI 1.3 functionality. Blackboard usage now includes the full capability of Feedback Loop, inline with our other LMS Integrations.
Everything Else
The Send Now and Close buttons that previously displayed on Scheduled surveys have been replaced with a Cancel button. Clicking cancel stops your scheduled survey from sending and clears your scheduled send date. Click the three dots menu on the top right of your survey page and click Cancel Schedule, as pictured below.
Draft and scheduled survey layouts have been improved.
Fixed an issue where the more options survey menu could display, even when it was empty.
Added more detailed error messaging in-app.
