Peer feedback assessment or grading is typically handled in a granular fashion, which can be very time-consuming but awards students points based on their performance within the team, or is simply graded by completion to save time. With Feedback Loop,p eer feedback assessment is now a snap with magic grading! After discussing peer feedback grading with dozens of faculty, we found that most of the time its done with some combination of granting credit for completing the survey (so students have an incentive to respond) and granting credit from ratings the student received from their team. This update lets instructors set their automatic survey grading to any combination of participation and ratings received. Use the slider to set your calculation and see grades get automatically posted when you click the Push Grades to LMS button!

How Automatic Peer Feedback Assessment Works

1. When creating or scheduling a survey, select Yes for Create as assignment.
2. Set your points the assignment is worth on the Max points field (it defaults to 10).
3. Use the grade weighting slider to set any combination of credit for completion and for ratings students receive. Self scores do not count toward the grade calculation.
4. Click Push Grades to LMS in your survey.

Any performance-based score will assign proportional credit to students even if they did not complete the survey. If you want students to receive credit only if they complete the survey, set the slider to 100% completion. With Magic Grading, handling peer feedback assessment or grading is now easy and instant!
