Template editor save indicator
When editing a survey template, instructors would often ask: “is this saved?” We don’t want users to have to second guess so we added a status indicator to show when survey template changes are saving or have been saved. The tool automatically saves all changes but now you can visually confirm this.
Easier survey template editing with automated double-checking of custom response scales & more!
When creating a new question, users are invited to use a standard Likert scale or build their own scale from scratch. Now, when building your own scale, the system double checks the point values for each response and flags any potential issues like having two responses worth the same number of points.
We’ve also made several subtle improvements to the overall editing experience to make it feel more seamless.
Improved student navigation for released results
It is now easier for students to access their performance report for surveys where the instructor has released results to students. In addition to navigating here from their email notification, this update lets students access their performance report from the Feedback Loop tab in their course.
Support for Blackboard LMS: Blackboard Surveys with Feedback Loop
Feedback Loop is compatible with Canvas LMS, D2L Brightspace and, now, Blackboard! With this update, Blackboard users can now use Feedback Loop for Blackboard surveys, bringing the ultimate peer feedback experience to Blackboard LMS!
Improved contrast
Question category containers now have more contrast against the background, to make for a better user view and keep compliance with accessibility standards.
Team counter displays in teams list and survey campaign views
This is another update inspired by watching instructors use the product. A common question is if all their teams are included in a survey so now, before clicking send, users can see the team count to know exactly how many teams are included. And a reminder to scroll down on your surveys page to see a listing of every team and student included in the survey!
Improved support for longer top-level survey instructions!
We majorly underestimated the need for long, detailed survey instructions. In our previous update, we added support for line breaks, bullets and much longer question prompts and instruction blocks. In this update, we brought this robustness to the top-level survey instructions at the top of the survey editor.
Everything else
- Fixed a bug where text-based question results were not filtering correctly in faculty views
- Template library now more clearly separates your own templates, your school’s template library and Feedback Loop templates.
